- According to the Cricket Australia’s website Sachin Tendulkar, Indian Batsman has been voted as the Best Test player’ of the 21st century
- Cricket Australia (ricket.com.au) conducted an online poll and make a list of 100 batsman
- Tendulkar earned 23 per cent of votes, with more than 16,000 fans participating in the survey
- The second heighest vote Sangakkara got 14 per cent votes after Tendulkkar
- The 42-year-old Tendulkar, who is the only batsman to have hit 100 international centuries, holds the record for highest run scorer in both Tests and ODIs
Boxer Manoj Kumar Gets Arjuna Award
- Boxer Manoj Kumar received his Arjuna Award from Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal
- Kapil Dev-led award committee had earlier refused award and he got the award after winning a High Court case
- He is a 2010 Commonwealth Games gold medallist
National Milk Day on Kurien's birth anniversary
- National Milk Day will be celebrated on november 26
- First time in the history of India's dairy sector, all the dairy majors have joined hands to celebrate November 26 as National Milk Day
- The day will be celebrated in the memory of Dr Verghese Kurien, Father of India's White Revolution
- The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Indian Dairy Association (IDA) along with around 22 state level milk federation's will celebrate National Milk Day this on Kurien's 93rd birth anniversary
