Indian Forest Officer Sanjay, activist Anush Gupta win Magasasay Award

• Whistleblower officer Sanjay Chaturvedi and human rights activist Anushu Gupta are among the 5 winners of Magsasay Award
• Sanjay Chaturvedi won Ramon Magsasay award this year is a 2002 Indian Forest Officer 
• He is awarded for his integrity, courage and tenacity in uncompromisingly exposing and investigating corruption in public office
• Anusha Gupta for his non governmental organisation  Goonj, his creative vision in transforming in giving cloth as a sustainable leadership  in giving cloth as a sustainable development resource for the poor
