Indian to Celebrate International Day of Yoga in Egypt
- India is going to celebrate the International Day of Yoga (IDY) with a number of Egyptian schools and institutions on June 21
- A large number of officials and Egyptians are expected to be in the celebration
- A number of yoga schools and institutions in Egypt are also joining the Indian Embassy in the celebrations
BSNL Starts Offering Free Roaming Across India
- As declared earlier BSNL started free roaming across the country, which will allow all its mobile customers to receive calls with out cost
- This should be a great move in the telecom industry and the government is planning to achieve it gradually
- The facility has already offered by the telecom company Aircel by allowing free roaming in five South Indian state
- This is a step to achieve the goal One Nation One Number
India inks landmark motor pact with 3 SAARC nations
- With the three SAARC nations -Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal India signed the motor vehicles pact
- This will enable to transit of passenger and cargo vehicles among them the Nations
- Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for Road Transport and Highways signed the Bangladesh, Bhutan,India and Nepal
- There is a similar pact between the nations India, Manmyar and Thailand the same motor vehicle agreement
Air India Introduces Second Colombo-Delhi Flight
- Air India started second flight which launch a non stop service from Delhi to Colombo
- Air India has a flight from Chennai to Colombo currently
- The new flight should be a new era in aviation between the nations
Mahindra Wins Components Production Contract From Airbus
- Mahindra Aerospace of Mahindra Group had won a multi-year contract from Airbus Group to make and supply aerospace components to the European planemaker
- The company will start the making of component this year
- This contract is a part of the Government's "Making in India" Vision
