Gorvernment rejects U.S Panels report on religious Freedom
*India reacte to the rport of the U.S commission on religious freedom that criticises that the government.
*And said that it was based on a limiting understanding of India,its constitution and its society
*The government will not cognizance with the report
*Based on the Hindu nationalist groups for programmes concern of forced conversion Ghar Wapasi, attacks on chuches and hate campaigns against Muslim minorities
Girl dies after being molested thrown off bus
*A teenage girl died and mother suffered serious injuries after they were molested and thrown from a running bus
*The conductor and cleaner were arrested on the next day morning
*The issue has more important even though the government is taking tough action on the molestation of women, the incident happens again
*The injured woman states that she and her 16 years old daughter were molested and harassed by the cleaner and conductor and another unidentified person
National roaming tariff reduced
*AS per the directive and deadline set by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), mobile phone service providers such as Airtel, Idea, Vodafone Reliance have reduced the national roaming rates
*Out going call rates are reduced by 23 percent and outgoing local calls by 20 percent
Foreign Secretary National Security Adviser to visit Nepal
*India is sending two of its senior most officials, Foreign Secretary S.Jayasankar and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval to Kathmandu to take stoke situation and amplify its relief efforts
*As part of effort to rehabilitation people India has been sending relief material, medical aid and domain experts to restore power, communication and road connectivity
Pakistan court jails 10 for life for Malala attack
*A court in Pakistan on sentenced 10 men to life imprisonment for attempting to kill Nobel Prize winning teenage activist Malala Yousafzai in 2012
*Pakistani Taliban militants boarded the teenagers school bus and shot her in the head in October 2012
*Life prison sentences in Pakistan are 25 years and convicts may appeal in a higher court
Iran attempted to buy nuclear technology
*Britain has informed the U.N of recent Iranian attempts to buy uranium enrichment technology on the black market
*Such procurement efforts are against the violation of U.N Security Counsel resolutions placing Iran under sanctions
