Harbhajan Kaur Dheer becomes first Asian elected mayor in UK
*Indian-origin councilor Harbhajan Kaur Dheer of Labour Party became the first Asian woman to be elected as mayor in United Kingdom.
*Harbhajan Kaur Dheer was born in Punjab in 1953 and has moved to Britain in 1975.
*Her husband Ranjit Dheer is presently councilor of Ealing Council and is a former Mayor of Ealing
North Korea Minister Executed for insubordination
*North Korea leader Kim Jong-un executed his Defence Minister Hyon Yong Chol with an anti aircraft fire for insubordination and dozing off during a formal military rally
