J.B Patnaik dead

Three times Odisha Chief Minister and Veteran congress leader J.B Patnaik passed away in Tirupati. He was 89 and was admitted to a hospital in the temple town . He was in Tirupati  to attend the convocation ceremony of the Rashtriya Sanskrit University.

Rajnath Singh decries anti-minority views

The opposition blaming the government for being intimidating minorities. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on sought to assure the Lok Sabha that the government does not endorse anti-minority views expressed in recent weeks. 

CBI suspects Rs.4000 crore scam in Railway

The Central Bureau of Investigation is going to register a case for alleged under the-reporting of the actual freight transported by the Indian Railways causing the huge losses to the exchequer. The agency suspects involvement of railway officials in the alleged scam. In an enquiry in coordination with the vigilance wing found that the software used to record the weight of the freight had been tampered with. The hardware components had also been sabotaged.


Maharashtra Government announced the target of 14400 MW power generation by 2019
The state government will produce 14400 MW electricity by 2019 by way of non-conventional methods to cut down cost and reduce carbon footprint. The non conventional source of energy is cheaper and far better as compared to conventional sources.Out of the 14400 MW electricity target, the state government has proposed that 75000 MW of electricity will be generated from solar energy while wind mills will generate 5000 MW of power.
