- Himachal Pradesh Lokayukta Bill 2014, which was passed by the State assembly has received President of India Pranab Mukherjee’s
- It is to set-up an anti-graft body with a single member Lokayukta and the new act will replace the existing law
- The state Lokayukta is currently headed by Justice a retired SC judge L S Panta

Union Minister Jitendra Singh Announces Rs. 1500 Crore Nuclear Insurance Pool
- Government announced an insurance policy of Rs. 1,500 crore to offset financial burden of foreign nuclear suppliers and made it mandatory
